The course “Implementation of bioenergy technologies for waste processing in the EU” was continued with a new topic “Characterization of biofuel feedstock”.
The issues of production and research of solid biofuels and the use of sustainable energy from agricultural land were covered. Dr. Yelizaveta Chernysh spoke on the topic of biofuel feedstock characterization, and Kseniia Paramonova, a guest expert, coordinator of the biofuels laboratory, PhD student at the Faculty of Tropical Agricultural Sciences, Czech University of Natural Sciences in Prague, Czech Republic, shared her knowledge of solid biofuels from plant substrates.
