Spring school BioInWaste 2025. Topic 2: Lecture 1

The course “Introduction of bioenergy technologies for waste processing in the EU” continues with the topic “Bioeconomy as a basis for green growth”, with lecturer and moderator Yelizaveta Chernysh, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies at Sumy State University.

👨‍🏫 🇩🇰 The guest expert at this meeting was Vojtech Kouba, researcher in the field of environmental biotechnology, PhD, Assistant Professor at University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague, Czech Republic.

🌱 In his report, he spoke about the valorization of intractable biogenic residues by combining mixed and axenic microbiological cultivation. Participants had the opportunity to learn more about modern European experience and innovative approaches in the field of bioenergy.
