Department of Ecology and environmental technologies is the winner of the direction “Jean Monnet” Erasmus + by results of the competition 2022 and will implement the project “Bioenergy innovations in waste management: European experience in the economy (European experience in economy)” (BIOINWASTE – 101085172 – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-MODULE).
Let’s note that from 92 projects of direction “Jean Monnet”, recommended for financing in Ukraine, 11 – achievement of Sumy State University. Ahead are three years of active implementation of projects and implementation of European values by new project teams in the activities of the University! We sincerely congratulate the faculty and teaching staff of the winning projects, who found the strength to submit projects in a difficult wartime period, thinking about the upcoming reconstruction of the country. Of particular educational value is the fact that all institutes and faculties of Sumy State University received the projects without exception: environmental engineers, technologists, economists and marketers, IT specialists, linguists, lawyers, and medics. The topics of the projects are extremely relevant and important both for the University and for our country, in particular, related to the implementation of regenerative technologies in biomedicine, the strategy of development of green campuses, protection of the financial system from cyber threats, the implementation of EU mechanisms aimed at combating modern challenges and threats, bioenergetic. innovations in waste management, migration in the EU, promoting sustainable education through the brand language.
We wish our departmental project team, namely Associate Professor Dr. Yelizaveta Chernysh, Associate Professor Dr. Irina Ableyeva, and PhD student Victoriia Chubur, successful implementation of the project and sustainable results, as well as all the faculty teams of the winning projects a further success!
