On 26 May 2023, the course “Introduction of bioenergy technologies for waste treatment in the EU” continued with the topic “The potential role of bioenergy in solving the carbon issue”, with lecturer Dr Yelizaveta Chernysh.
The following issues were discussed:
- European Union’s support for bioenergy for carbon capture and storage;
- the work of the International Energy Agency (IEA) in the field of bioenergy with carbon capture and storage;
- an overview of the European Union (EU) research and development programmes aimed at supporting bioenergy from carbon capture and storage;
- Introduction to bibliometric analysis using VOS Viewer software.
