The Jean Monnet Module “BIOINWASTE” invites researchers, academics, and students to join an interactive online workshop dedicated to bibliometric analysis and research visualization in the fields of bioenergy, bioeconomy, innovation, and waste valorisation.
This workshop is organized within the framework of the 6th International Multidisciplinary Conference for Young Researchers (MCYR), which aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and support the next generation of researchers. The 2025 edition is held under the sub-theme “Science and Innovation: Advancing the Path to a Sustainable Future”.
📅 Date: 11 October 2025
🕙 Time: 10:00 – 12:00 (CET), 11:00 – 13:00 (Kyiv time)
📍 Platform: Microsoft Teams
The workshop will be led by Dr. Yelizaveta Chernysh (Sumy State University, Ukraine; CZU Prague). Participants will explore how to use VOS Viewer to perform bibliometric mapping, identify scientific trends, reveal collaboration networks, and analyze citation patterns within the rapidly growing domains of bio-based research.
The session will include a step-by-step demonstration — from data collection to visualization and interpretation — making it especially valuable for early-career researchers and anyone interested in applying quantitative methods to literature analysis.
