AgriSci-UA platform announces new grant initiatives

The AgriSci-UA platform, which brings together the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague (Czech Republic) and six leading Ukrainian universities, including Sumy State University, has announced new grant initiatives.

This opportunity is designed to support collaborative research projects that address critical environmental and societal challenges. We invite applications for grants supporting newly established or existing multidisciplinary research teams within the AgriSciences Platform (AgriSci-UA project). Eligible teams must include members from at least two partner universities (e.g., Sumy National Agrarian University, Sumy State University, Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University, Dnipro State Agrarian-Economic University, Mykolayiv National Agrarian University, State Biotechnological University).

These initiatives should promote sustainable development, innovation, and a positive impact at the local level. Projects may focus on: sustainable agriculture, women’s entrepreneurship, public education, ecosystem protection, and social support to overcome the consequences of war.

This short-term research mobility (minimum 5 days + 2 days for travel) aims to support cooperation and research development in areas related to environmental and agricultural issues caused by the war.

The deadline for applications is August 31, 2025!
